Property Description
Peace, privacy, spectacular views from Mt Warning to the Qld Border Ranges, 12 metre solar heated salt-water pool & jolly good food in beautiful Crystal Creek, just outside historic Murwillumbah in the beautiful Tweed Valley, Tropical Northern NSW. Only 35 mins from Goldcoast airport and 90 mins from Brisbane.
Perched atop a hill on 5 landscaped acres and surrounded by the rolling pastures of a 200 acre farm with spectacular views in every direction, Hillcrest offers a choice of bed and breakfast accommodation in a separate guest wing of the main house (rooms not listed here), or a completely private and romantic self contained cottage set in its own garden away from the main house.
The fully self contained Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with full size gas stove, microwave and all utensils and equipment. The air conditioned lounge room has a wood-burning fire, remote control stereo tv/dvd/video and stereo unit with CD player. Double glass sliding doors open from the lounge open to your private verandah where you’ll find table/chairs and a gas BBQ to enjoy the traditional Aussie BBQ.
The QS Bedroom is separate from the lounge and walks thru to a huge ensuite bathroom with top of the range luxury double spa bath and separate large shower, heater, hairdryer and selection of toiletries.
Plan to stay in the beautiful Tweed Valley for more than a day or two and enjoy horse-riding, golf, scenic joy-flights in either a replica Super Waco bi-plane, seaplane or ultra light, rainforest safari, river cruises, markets, arts and craft galleries, tennis, fishing and some of the 5 World Heritage Listed National Parks in the area.
